Sometimes women say things and no one believes them, even though there's no real gain for them telling it to anyone - other than a whole lot of hardship. This is me, thinking about that a lot. And when I say women, maybe that means something broader, like, "people who are routinely underestimated for reasons beyond their control", but so far they're portraits of women.
